Welcome to New Lawnmowers Online! This site has lots of great information on my favorite plant: lawn grass lawn! There’s something about a healthy, green, freshly mowed lawn that says we’re in the “lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer,” when the livin’ is easy. So to speak. You can put a lot of work into growing and maintaining the perfect lawn, but I prefer to NOT be a slave to the grass blade. My personal goal is to have a nice patch of non-toxic, environmentally friendly lawn for me, friends & family, and my dogs.
One of the most important things about caring for your lawn is mowing it properly. The right frequency, height, and tools will get the job done right and see you through. My favorite lawn care tool is my old Ariens push lawn mower that I’ve had for almost 20 years now. I spent a ton of money for it - almost $600!! — but it’s been worth every penny. I won’t tell you how few times I’ve changed the oil & filters on it, or the spark plug, or how many winters its lived through with last summer’s gas still in it! Let’s just say, a lesser mower would have turned me in to Mower Protective Services a long time ago!
